An appointment lasts an hour. Proud Care is for the other days, so nobody has to rebuild the week from memory.
How it works

Create a care code
In your practitioner portal. Short, single use and expiring. Hand it over in session or send the link.
Choose their tools
Turn each optional Proud tool on or off for this client. Change it whenever their needs change.
They decide
The app shows them your name, what you will see and the tools you chose. Nothing is shared unless they agree.
Follow the week
Their meal timeline and weekly stats appear in your portal for as long as the program runs.

You pick what fits each client.
Every optional tool starts off until you choose it, and you can change the choice at any time. Tools you leave off are not available to that client. Choosing a tool never gives you a view into it.
Bloom chat
A warm AI companion for the moments between sessions. It is an AI, not a clinician, and you never see the conversations.
Stillness
Short breathing and grounding exercises for when things feel loud.
Unfold
A private journal with optional AI reflection. It stays theirs. You never see it.
Meal Ideas
Gentle ideas built around foods they like. No calories, no portions, no weights.
My Plan
A personal plan built from a few questions, with short lessons paced week by week.

Meal logging, a buddy, lessons and progress stay on for everyone, with every privacy, disconnect and deletion control.
The boundary
What you see, and what you never see.
The first list covers everything the portal shows. Anything not on it cannot be seen.
Shared, once your client agrees
- Their meal log: the photos, captions, meal type and when they logged, including meals from before they connected.
- The Prouds their meals receive.
- Weekly stats for the program: days with a logged meal, meals against the rhythm you set, the gap since their last log, and meals posted a day or more late.
- Their name, the date they connected, their program dates, the focus you chose, and whether they have a buddy. Never who the buddy is.
- Whether a meal was edited, or logged as a photo-free card.
Never shared
- Bloom conversations, even when you turned Bloom on.
- Their Unfold journal.
- Notes between them and their buddy, and the answers they gave to personalize Proud.
- Their account details, settings and subscription.
- Calories, weights, or numbers about bodies. Proud has none, so there are none to share.
Before they agree, your client sees what will be shared and what stays private on the consent screen in the app.
For practitioners
Built for the practitioner who owns the relationship.
A practice of one is the default. Group practices add associates, and each person sees only their own clients.
- A sign in of your own. No shared practice passwords.
- Care codes to connect clients: short, single use, expiring.
- Tools chosen for each client, changeable at any time.
- Each client’s meal timeline and weekly stats, for your own caseload only.
- Plain reminders when someone has not logged for a few days, at a threshold your practice sets. No risk scores.
- Exports for your records, and a record of every view.

For clients
Got a code from your practitioner?
Open the link they sent you on your iPhone. If Proud is installed it opens straight to the right screen. If not, the page helps you get Proud first.

Or type the code in yourself. New to Proud: tap “I’m here with a care team”. Already using Proud: go to Settings, then Care team.
See who, and what
Proud shows you your practitioner’s name, what they will see, what stays private and the tools they chose. Nothing is shared unless you agree.
Stay in charge
Disconnect any time in Settings and sharing stops at once. Your account, your history and your buddy stay yours.
Proud Care works on iPhone only for now. Android is not supported yet. Proud Plus is included while your program runs, and nothing starts, changes or cancels on your own App Store subscription. Only ever type your code into the Proud app: Proud never asks for it by email or on a website.
Privacy and promises
Promises the software has to keep.
Not policy bolted on afterward. Each one is a constraint the system is built around.
Consent names a person
Clients say yes to a named practitioner at a named practice. If their care moves to a colleague, the app tells them.
Disconnecting is one action
From Settings. Access stops at once, and everything stays theirs.
A tool is not a window
Turning on Bloom or Unfold shares nothing. Conversations and journals stay private.
No scores, no flags
No ratings, no ranking, no sorting by risk. Reminders state plain facts.
Every look is recorded
Every view is recorded, and the record is kept for six years. Quiet access does not exist.
No tracking on the side
Product analytics are off for anyone in a care connection.
Access is covered
Proud Plus is included for the program. Personal subscriptions are never touched.
Their buddy stays theirs
A practitioner is never a buddy, and can never become one.
Proud Care does not change what Proud is. Proud is peer support and accountability. It is not treatment, not therapy, and not a medical device, and Proud Care does not make it one. It connects Proud to the person who provides the real help. Proud does not sell data or show ads. More in the privacy policy.
