Care is the between-session view for dietitians, therapists and clinicians. Enroll with a care code. See meals, times and streak. Named, read only, and only while they choose.
Not open yet. First practices are invited one at a time.

The goal
Close the gap between appointments.
An appointment lasts an hour. Care is for the other days, so nobody has to rebuild the week from memory.
Who it is for
One person doing the work. One person guiding it.
People working with a professional
See a dietitian, therapist or counselor? Care will let you bring them in.
Practitioners
A private, read only view of how the people you work with are showing up between sessions.
Everyone else on Proud
Nothing changes. Care never turns on by itself.
The plan
How it will work.
Consent sits in the middle.
Your practitioner hands you a code
Short, works once, expires on its own. It carries nothing about you.
You agree to a named person
You see their name, what they get, and what stays private. Say no and nothing is shared.
They see you showing up
Meals as your buddy sees them. Never numbers, never scores, and no paywall while it lasts.
The boundary
What they see, and what they never see.
The first list is complete. Anything not on it cannot be seen.
Shared, once you agree
- The meals you log, with their photos and notes.
- The Prouds your meals receive.
- How regularly you have been logging.
- Whether a buddy is connected. That you have one, never who they are.
- When your connection started and when it ends.
Never shared
- Your conversations with Bloom.
- Your Unfold journal. It stays a journal only you can read.
- Your account details, settings, and the rest of your profile.
- Anything you delete. Deleted means deleted, for practitioners too.
- Calories, weights, or numbers about your body. Proud has none, so there are none to share.
The consent screen inside the app will show both of these lists again before you agree, and they have to match this page. That is the standard Care is being built against.
The rules
Promises the software has to keep.
Not policy bolted on afterward. Each one is a constraint the system is built around.
Consent names a person
You say yes to a named person, never to a company.
Disconnecting is one action
End it from settings. Access stops at once, and everything stays yours.
Your buddy stays yours
A practitioner is never a buddy, and can never become one.
No scores, no flags
No ratings, no ranking, no sorting by risk.
Every look is recorded
Every view writes a permanent record. Quiet access does not exist.
No tracking on the side
Product analytics are off for anyone in a care connection.
No paywall in the way
Everything Proud offers stays open while a connection is active.
Codes that protect you
Says nothing about you, works once, expires. Nobody can read it back.
For practitioners
Built practitioner first.
Built for the individual practitioner who owns the relationship. A practice of one is the default.
- A sign in of your own. No shared practice passwords.
- Care codes to connect people. Short, one time, expiring.
- A read only view of each person who agreed: meals, encouragement, and how consistently they log.
- Only your own caseload, never anyone elseโs.
- No scoring, no ranking, no diagnosing.
First practices are invited one at a time. To be among them, write to Theo. A short note about how you work is enough.
Clinics, hospital programs and group practices: same address.
Where it stands
Boundaries first, features second.
The rules about who can see what were written and tested against hostile conditions before any screen existed to show a meal. That work runs in an isolated environment on invented data, with no real accounts and no real meals.
There is no launch date here, on purpose. Care opens to a few practices at a time. When there is something real to try, this page will say so.
Care does not change what Proud is. Proud is peer support and accountability. It is not treatment, not therapy, and not a medical device, and Care does not make it one. Care connects Proud to the person who provides the real help.
One more person on your side.
Proud is on the App Store today. Care arrives inside it.
