- No feed, no followers, no discovery page.
- No calories, weights, macros or body numbers.
- Every photo is safety scanned before it sends.
- Delete your account any time, from the app.

Common questions
The questions people ask first
Plain answers to what people ask before they pick a food app. Each one stands on its own.
What are the best meal tracking apps?
Most meal tracking apps are built to measure: calories, macros, portions, weight. If a number is what you want at the end of the day, Proud is not the app.
Proud tracks one thing instead. Whether you ate, and whether one person you chose knows about it. You log the meal in front of you with a photo and a short note if you have words, your buddy sees it, and they can send a Proud back with one tap. There is no score, no grade and no daily total.
Proud is free on iPhone, iOS 15.1 or later.
Is there a meal app that does not count calories?
Yes. Proud is a meal logging app with no calorie counting anywhere in it. No calories, no macros, no weights, no portion sizes, no BMI and no body numbers of any kind.
You take a photo of the meal you are having. One buddy you chose sees it and can send a Proud back. That is the whole loop, and nothing in it produces a figure about food or about you.
Free on iPhone.
How do I stay consistent with meals?
Consistency is easier when it is not private. That is the idea Proud is built on.
You log the meal, one person you chose sees it, and they send a Proud back. Nothing to weigh, count or measure. A streak shows the shape of your week, and with Proud Plus you can declare up to two rest days a week so the streak waits rather than breaks.
Proud is free on iPhone.
Do streak apps actually help?
A streak helps while it is a tool and stops helping the moment it becomes a judge. Proud is built for the first one.
With Proud Plus you can declare up to two weekly rest days, and if you miss a day you can Mend it within three days, twice a month. The streak is there to show you your week, not to grade it. It counts days, never amounts.
Free on iPhone.
Which food apps do not sell your data?
Proud does not sell data and carries no advertising.
Your meals are visible to one buddy you chose and to nobody else. There is no public profile, no discovery and no way for a stranger to find your account. The privacy policy names every processor Proud uses, what it holds and how long it keeps it, in plain language rather than legal filler.

Is there a private alternative to posting food on social media?
Proud is built as the opposite of a public post.
One person sees the meal. You chose them, they agreed, and either of you can end it. There are no follower counts, no comments from strangers and no way for anyone to find you by scrolling. Every photo is scanned automatically for safety before your buddy sees it.
Free on iPhone.
Is Proud free?
Yes. Logging meals, pairing with a buddy, streaks, Prouds and the opening Learn lessons cost nothing.
Proud Plus is optional. It adds rest days, Mend a day, the full Learn library, the Home Screen widget and Bloom, and it starts with a three day free trial. Plus is billed through Apple, so the App Store listing shows the current price where you are, and you can cancel from your iPhone Settings at any time.
What devices does Proud work on?
iPhone, iOS 15.1 or later.
Proud is available in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French and Japanese, and it follows your phone's language unless you change it in Settings.

One person reads these, within a few days. Proud is not a crisis service. If things are heavy right now, the help at the bottom of this page is the better door. What happens to what you send
